We've simplified how to add and edit programs, including schedules and tuition to your Kinside account, making it easier than ever to let families know how your program works and if you have open spots.
If you aren't ready to add a spot to your Kinside profile, you can create your programs and schedules individually. However, if you are ready to post an open spot, you can do everything in one go. This is covered here.
Add a program
- Navigate to your Programs page and click + Add a program at the top of the page.
- This will open the Add program modal. Your program must include a program name, program type (only one) and age range. Optionally, you can include a non-refundable and/or refundable deposit and/or a description. This description will show on your public profile, so make sure it's appropriate for this program and the public.
- Click Save and you'll see your new program on your Programs page.
Editing/deleting a program
In case you need to make any changes to your program, you have the ability to edit it once it's created. Perhaps your annual deposit has changed, or you've expanded your age ranges. This is the place to make those changes.
- On your Programs page, click Edit program in the program you'd like to edit.
- This will open the Edit program modal. Make any changes you'd like and click Save.
- If you need to delete this program, check the Delete this program checkbox at the top and click Save.
- This will open a confirmation screen, in which you will need to check the box I understand, and wish to delete the program and click Save again. Your program will be deleted.
Note: any existing schedules, spots, and spot offers associated with this program will also be deleted.
Adding a schedule
Adding schedules to your profile is important, as it helps families better understand if your program is a good fit for them. To add a new schedule, follow the steps below.
- Navigate to your Programs page and select + Add schedule within an existing program.
- This will open the Add schedule modal. You'll need to select or create a Program, as well as give your new schedule a name. You'll also need to select the number of days per week and which days your schedule runs, along with a start and end time, and tuition associated with this schedule. Make sure to set your tuition frequency, otherwise it will default to monthly.
- Perhaps you have schedule options within a schedule. For example, your regular schedule might be 9am to 5pm, but you offer an extended schedule for slightly more from 7:30am to 6pm. You can add that here via + Add schedule variation at the bottom of the modal.
- This will open up variations. You'll be prompted to name your first schedule. You can see here we've named it "Standard". Then add your schedule variation and give it a name, perhaps "Early drop-off".
- Once all variations have been created, click Save. You'll see this new schedule shown on your profile with all variations, so that families know they have options. Families love options!
- You can see schedule variations in both the schedule view and open spot view on your Programs page.
Note: You can also copy an existing schedule by clicking Copy next to the schedule you'd like to duplicate. This will open a Copy schedule modal where you can make any necessary changes before saving. This is great for when you have the same schedule for every age group/program.
Editing/deleting a schedule
If you find that you need to edit or delete a schedule, you can! Here's how:
- Navigate to your Programs page and click Edit schedule in the schedule you'd like to edit.
- This will open the Edit schedule modal. Make any necessary changes and then click Save.
- If you need to delete the schedule, select the Delete this schedule checkbox at the top of the screen. You'll land on a confirmation screen in which you will need to check the box I understand, and wish to delete this program before clicking Save.
Note: any existing spots and spot offers associated with this schedule will also be deleted.
