This article reviews the process of creating and editing virtual tours.
When families are looking for care, they want to know the program they choose is clean, safe, and comfortable for their children. With health safety concerns, misaligned schedules, and other scheduling factors it can be hard or impossible to accommodate a family's in-person tour request.
Virtual tours can be a great alternative to show families around your program, give you time to connect and help families feel comfortable enrolling in your program.
Creating A Virtual Tour
- Navigate to the Tours page in your Kinside account.
- Select the Settings tab, then Add virtual instructions.
- This will open a Tour settings modal. Here you can set rules for virtual tours. Determine how many days notice you'd like before a tour can be booked, the length of virtual tours, and the number of families who can attend. If you will be using the same link every time you do a virtual tour, enter it here. If you expect this link to change, you can enter it at the individual tour level. In addition, you can include virtual instructions, which will be sent to the family once they book, and public notes, which will be visible during booking. When you're ready, click Save.
- Next navigate to the Availability tab of your Tours page and click Edit availability.
- In Edit mode, you can click into the tour type and toggle from In-person to Virtual. Click Save changes to update your availability.
That's it! You're all set.
